Response to Spahi uniforms 1918

The only source on French Colonial Cavalry in the Great War I know is in this book:

Jacques Sicard & François Vauvillier: Les Chasseurs d'Afrique. L'Encyclopédie de l'Armee Française.
Histoire & Collections, 1999 ISBN: 2 098 182 874

Pages 40 to 59 deal with the First World War, heavy emphasis on uniforms.
