what happened to all of these between the wars US armor vehiclesed when the war started? Was any of it deployed overseas? M2a1 mediums and M2 Combat cars were used on Guadalcanal, correct? What about the scout cars-T-2 + T-7 (and bunches of others I suppose) Were these vehicles kept "on the books" as home defense vehicles? Coast Defense?

Anyone have any recommended books?

Thanks, Regards bobC
