I'd be wary of being pedantic about humbrol mixes. I'd also be wary of three vs four tone.

German 1918 colours seem to be

A Dark green fading grey (but not a grey)
Red Brown
Ochre
A pale grey green.

Have at look at Landships, as there were some examples of extant German paint on guns, which is as close as I think you'll get. Mix your humbrol colours to match what you see.
