Response to I have a query about these tracks....

Just an opinion based on scratch building a Whippet for way too many years and doing extensive measurements on the Aberdeen and Camp Borden Whippet/Medium D on lots of occasions. When I scaled the Model Cellar tracks they scale out at 19" across the actual track plates are 21" BUT this measurement was made years ago on the track set and I have no knowledge if what is available now is the same sets then and with that said I have sine that initial measurement of the MC set read some further references that indicate that 2 different size (width) tracks were made for the Whippets and the Rhomboids. So that could explain the discrepancy plus having never seen the Emhar Whippet maybe the smaller track was made that way because that's all that will fit to the kit scaling, well. it is "scale" modeling and "fitting correctly" and "historically correct" can be two VERY different things:)
Concerning using "formable/bendable" resin track...I did it once and never plan on doing it again:)happy.gifhappy.gif
