Response to Armoured Fighting Vehicles of the World vol.1 (Cannon Press)

..what it contains are reprints of the old Profile series (both the original "red" covers and the later "white" covers) All pertaining to any WW1 AFV's covered in those series
So it has in order:
"Early Armoured Cars" White series no. 9
"Tanks Mk's I-V" White no. 3
"Tank Mk IV" Red series
"A7V" Red series
"The Schneider & St Chamond Red series
"The Renault FT" Red series
"Medium Tanks Mk's A-D" White series no. 7
A study of the battle of Amiens 8th August 1918. Followed by a chapter on the Mk VI & Mk VII tanks.

"Tank Mk VIII. The International" Red series

"Gun Carrier and Supply Tanks"

"The American Tanks"

And a final chapter on the experimental machines of all nations during the Great War period.

I don't have too many of the Red covered series so I'm not sure what numbers they are in their series. I've got most of the White covered Profiles so I've given where they are in that series.
Not too sure if the chapters of Amiens, the Mk VI & Mk VII, the Gun & Supply Carriers or the Experimentals appeared in the Red series or are specific to this publication. They don't appear in the White series.

All in all not a bad compilation. But keep in mind the old AFV Profiles date from the 60's and early 70's and a lot of the information therefore is also dated. And some of it has been made redundant by studies in the field of early armour by later authors and historians. The "Russian" Sokol guns in the A7V for instance.
Got lots of good pics though.
