I build 1/72 scale myself, but have full respect - and even envy - of those modellers doing 1/35 scale, not least because their efforts are often of such mindblowing quality and detail.
Lately I have received a number of querys regarding what WW1-era Military kits there to be found in 1/35. My knowledge in this field is poor, but I am off course more than willing to post such info on the Landships site (http://www.landships.freeservers.com).
Now I wonder if there are any 1/35-ers out there who would be willing to volunteer such info? I will do all the HTLM-ing, and the person/s supplying the info will off course get the full credits.

1/32 Scale Kits?
March 28 2004, 10:33 AM
While I realise you requested 1/35, there are just too many good 54mm kits out there to ignore. I'm puzzled why WW1 modelers would long for the oriental 1/35, when the traditional scale is so well represented in the Great War period.
Well, that proved my point about my own lack of knowledge. Off course the 1/32 scale scale kits should be listed as well! And anyone - you? - are most welcome to help in this!
I think there is not so much difference between the different scales!
General work is the same and I read 1/72 article or webpage with a great interest. The braille scale modeller are sometime more inventive than the 1/35s!

No! When did you send it? Please re-send, using my Hotmail-adress!
Regarding the different scales: well, us Braille Scalers can - and have to - be inventive, but still: 1/35 scale models can still leave me quite astonished by the level of detail and superiority of finish...
First the good news! CRIEL is doing a Fiat 2000! I emailed them with a WW1 1/35 wish list, and they responded that they will be doing 2 of them, the Fiat 2000 and the Deport 75mm gun, the former hopefully to be released by Christmas 2004. Here are all of the 1/35 WW1-ish figures that I can find offhand. Hope this helps!

That list is a bit behind the times--yours truly is ostensibly in charge of that part of the WWI-Cookup site but real life has interferred with the important things like updating the list.
My belated compliments for originating this forum. It should prove to be a gold mine of information.
