Here are a couple of images of a casting of a figure that I just finished sculpting of a WWI French Infantryman.

I have an optional upper torso for this figure that is wearing the coat without the fur vest.

We don't know who will be offering it for sale as we have not sold the master yet.

Bill

More of these please.
Not only a French subject, but a First World War French subject.
Yet again a work of art Mr Chilstrom. Please keep us informed as to where he can be purchased.

You must stop wasting your time

July 7 2009, 12:06 AM

...by sculpting 54mm figures, and start a life as a braille scale figure sculptor! Seriously, your figure is incredibly well detailed and life-like, and with the increasing demand of WW1 figures in 1/72 - see HäT's, Strelets', Emhar's and Caesar's recent sets - they would be very popular amongst braille scale collectors, even if some detail would be lost in the production process. Regards, Pat

Thanks for the input guys.

Pat, I have long considered sculpting some WWI 1/72 scale figures, so I just might give it a go.

Thanks,

Bill

Some manufacturers

That's excellent news. For starters, see what's availalbe in plastic:
http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/PeriodList.aspx?period=11

W^D Models are another manufacturer who could be interested in your excellent masters, and also Retrokit
http://www.scale-modelmania.de/index.php?article_id=588.

I am not connected to any of these companies, I'm just all for anatomically correct, well-detailed figures. Regards, Pat
