Hello all,

I am looking for any interior photos of the Rolls-Royce armoured car, ideally the 1914 version, but a later one would be better than nothing. I've looked around the interweb and several books I have with no results.

Thanks in advance.

RR Interior

February 17 2011, 10:21 AM

January 2011 copy of Classic Military Vehicle had a photo feature on a restored 1920 pattern RRAC - "Tom Keogh" of the irish Army.

That had a good interior shot of the drivers position.

The only remaining 1914 pattern car is in a museum in India - time has not been good to it.

I have one in my flickr pages:

But they are quite hard to come by. According to some accounts, the driver sat on the floor, or, if they were canny, they'd take a cushion with them.
