Wow! I haven't posted in a long time!!
I completely forgot, so sorry. The hair is fine. Still tangling, but that's to be expected. In fact, I am thinking of doing a Dusting tonight. I will once my hair is completely dry. I hope to reduce tangling as much as possible. I washed today using a different method and it seemed to work. I'll write it here for future reference.
1) Put dry hair in bun, got in shower, other showerly things.
2) Took hair out of bun, separated into two sections.
3) Brought the sections over my shoulders, finger combed.
4) Wet hair, combed.
5) Applied shampoo down the part, rinsed each section individually.
6) Combed.
7) Applied conditioner up to the ears, combed.
8) Rinsed, combed.
9) Got out of shower, secured each pigtail with scruchies.
10) Squeezed a towel down each one twice.
(In the bedroom)
1) Got dressed.
2) Combined two sections, finger combed back.
3) Gently combed the two sections.
Not a tangle! None. I combed alot, I know, but I think it was worth it. This seems to be a more thorough technique of conditioning anyway, where my hair's so
THICK.
And they seem not to break; though once they are bowed
So low for so long, they never right themselves:
Years afterwards, trailing their leaves on the ground
Like girls on hands and knees that throw their hair
Before them over their heads to dry in the sun. --Robert Frost, "Birches"
