Last week I bought SS23 hull #782, a CE Ryder boat built in 1985. It has been here in Maine and called "Hindsight" for at least 15 years. It is now sitting in a yard in Saco, Maine, where it will stay for the winter. I live in Yarmouth, Maine and plan to change the name of the boat and to sail out of Yarmouth harbor. Dock space can be hard to come by here, and the harbor is two miles upriver, but it is convenient in many ways.

The boat is equipped with a Yanmar diesel, and is generally in very good shape. I am looking forward to Spring and re-acquainting myself with sailing after many years away.

Thanks to those who share information about Sea Sprites on the website. The evident joy of SS23 owners was one of the reasons I chose the boat.

I did try to reach Chad Brown through the address given on the website but my message was returned.

John
