I wanted to post to Dennis that I found my serial # for my SS 34 "SailAway" as follows:
CERL3407M83H
I believe that it means that the boat was custom finished at a yard away from CE Ryder [L], it is boat #7 [07] and was manufactured in 1983 [83]. I do not know what the H means. If someone what to set me straight on this interpretation, please enlighten me.
Interestingly, as I searched the boat for the number, I found the following under the V berth routered into the cross beam...NO658161NET12.Anyone have a clue what that means. I think it means boat # 65 made in 1981.
