Critical Dates - Training Camps


As we countdown to February 2011, Team Ontario will work with 2011 Canada Winter Games sports, Ministry of Health Promotion (MHP) and University of Toronto to offer a Team Ontario Training Camp. This camp will serve as a training opportunity for selected or "potential" athletes, coaches and managers, as well as opportunities for sports to stay longer to conduct sport specific training sessions.

The Training Camp will enable Canada Winter Games sports to complete much of their mandatory education components, host team meetings and participate in team building activities.

The training camp will be held at the University of Toronto on December 10-11, 2010. All participating sports will be provided with accommodations, meals, expert facilitators and a great team building experience.

We are excited about this opportunity but also recognize that all PSOs have tight schedules and, in most cas-es, a pre-determined training plan for their 2011 Canada Games teams.
