Re Kingston starting an IAA team, they already tried that this year. The guy that was willing to coached had everything planned out, even had the budget ready, but GKGHA president didn't want one... sure it may take a few years to develop, but there's 7 kingston players who went elsewhere this year to play PW,which makes up almost half a team!
In terms of sens, they do have great goalies, and a coach who obviously knows what he's talking about, but they don't have any all-stars. They just know how to work together. I must say that they do have too much political stuff going on in tat association though!!
As per nepean, everyone is saying they don't really have any talented players; they do. they have hard working, dedicated people (heck, they have people from cornwall, kingston, etc - that shows obvious dedication). Of course they need some work, everyone does, but Nepean just doesn't have the coaching to get them to the next level. And whoever said that the forwards weren't up to par, maybe you should tell the D to pass to them! And when they do pass, try to keep it on the ice, or to make it so its not a suicide pass. Little things - that's whats wrong. doesn't help that they're on the ice - late - 6 out of 7 days a week. |
