This is nuts.....
The only way to do this fairly is to take the lowest seed ( say #1 ) play the highest seed still remaining.
so say
1 vs 8 team 1 wins
2 vs 7 team 2 wins
3vs 6 team 6 wins
4 vs 5 team 5 wins
the next round would be
1 vs 6
2 vs 5
Any thing other then this is pure nonsense!
Why is there no common sense to this?
Hey maybe they should simply draw numbers from a hat to decide this.
