Do you not understand that this is part of the problem, how can you take the whole selection process serious when it is not.

I have made many comments on the selection process in the past and it still is an issue. When a member of the OWHA executive is on the bench at these events what does that tell you about the process?

Managers have a right to be on the bench and I understand that.....anyone can be a manager. So why not select someone with some value to he team, maybe an up and coming young coach or an older experience past coach.

I am not slagging the players who were selected to represent Ontario but the process. We think we can select players at the last minute and just simply show up and win, well it appears that we can not.

Most of these teams have been selected much earlier, some have played in tourneys together before this event. It is time that we do the same. Select our team by end of the summer at the latest and then plan an event and some exhibition games prior to the main event.
