As Dice said, if you are interested or concerned enough go to the AGM. Having only 3 or 1 person show up at your AGM shows the exec that people "don't" care. Most Associations have it in their rules that a financial report is presented at the AGM. This was certainly the case of the association where I served on the exec for four years. Copies were provided at the AGM for distribution and we usually had about 25-50 non-exec parents attend, as the AGM was also used to vote on the incoming exec positions. The enticement we used was a small credit towards renewal fees, and a social afterwards.
