that parents don't have the right to be proud of their kid's accomplishments, just was stating that it's not always the parent doing the reporting. When my D got a scholarship I contacted our local paper and even though it was 15 years ago, I still have the article! Naturally parents should be proud of their kids. It's just that a poster indicated that he/she wished some parent would stop putting their kid in the paper all the time and I commented that locally last year it was a local reporter , not parents putting articles in. About time too. As many others have stated one shouldn't have to look online to find out girls results.
