Too often its the volunteers that get their PEEPEEs slapped by the OWHA if they dare challenge the establishment. Coaches volunteers (executives) dare not challenge the OWHA elitists or try to suggest improvement. They know the outcome...association being labelled second class or dimissed, pushed aside. How could the associations and those actually on the front lines have ideas that would lead to improvement and change. Unless it comes from the high-ups in the OWHA it can't be valid...this is why the OWHA hasn't kept pace with the game and its growth. When was the last time any of the dinosaurs in the OWHA have been on ice playing/coaching, imvolved the game, experiencing what this leagues current state is??? Hard to make change if your in denial or have no idea of the sattus of things and are unwilling to listen to anyone who does have these experinces
