Please feel free to ignore the fact that the league purposefully has rules to premit games to be rescheduled because of bad weather. These rules are there precisely to avoid families feeling that they have to drive in bad weather.

But don't let me stop you from using a potentially morbid situation to make your point.

When I was a convenor I always encouraged teams with the longest trips to schedule those games early in the season. Common sense can be useful.
