1 - Why would a mens D1 coach be monitoring an Ontario Girls Hockey forum ?
2 - Parents are not footing the bill at D1, the School is footing the bill.
3 - Most D1 coaches I've talked to always say something like, "In college we don't have to deal with parents, we only worry about the players".
