It seems the volunteers running tournaments and managers running teams are eagerly working towards next season. If you look at many of the association websites, they have tournaments posted (pending OWHA sanction). Managers are applying for tournaments having to search for the tournaments
Certainly the OW must have received some sanction requests by now. It would be great if we could get the start of a tournament list posted
Also, there are no Clinics (Ref, Coach, Trainer) listed yet on the website
Out of interest, I compared this to the OMHA website to see if they have started listing their clinics and tournaments. It seems they have got a quite the headstart
The frustrating thing is the OW would like us to have only OWHA officials, but what official wants to wait for the clinics to be posted and possibly be shut out of getting a spot. It also explaions why most of our coaches and trainers attend OMHA, GTHL, and other boys clinics

What do you expect.....they can only be expected to post tournaments and Clinics when they have got the time.......
It is a joke that these people are still allowed to run an organization.....an even bigger joke are the individuals who defend their lack of ability to do this.
This is just one issue in a long line of issues that need to be addressed!

Some of the tournaments are actually filling up in some divisions. I saw one tournament already listing the number of spots still available at certain divisions

Stoney Midget and Intermediate have been full for quite some time.
While we wait for the official listings, nothing is stopping a good/pro-active team manager to use last years listings as a guideline and then contact the organisers. As a manager of a team, we have already formally applied to 4 tournaments, and verbally to two others.

I guess that makes all PWHL teams foolish then as they are all in the Stoney Showcase. If you wanna wait until the cows come home, the barn might be full, so you risk to be out to pasture !.

Divisions filling up nicely - Tournament info and registered teams posted at www.belletiregirlshockey.
Midget AA Division up to 12 quality teams, Bantam AA at 6 and Int AA at 4. Pee Wee AA up to 4 and believe we will have another excellent field of 12 Pee Wee AA's like last year. Tournament is sanctioned by USA Hockey and MAHA.

I like the last line on the Belle Tire tournament page.
Come spend your Thanksgiving weekend in HockeyTown - we promise we won't make you watch the Lions!

both links for web site of Jr And MAAA showcase don't take u to a turnament listing...is there one?
Also the Can-Am Invitational isn't listed, does that mean it's not sanctioned and won't happen?

I recall seeing a note that were not allowed to advertise until your tourney was sanctioned. Now that the sanctions are out, it will be up on the various sites soon.
