There used to be a league in Steel Town. Not sure if it still exists.
Summer Storm run a summer team, but they only play tourneys.
There is also a Prospects Tourney College division in early June. I have a team in it (All current College players or current recruits, all D1 except 1). Still have spots for 1 or 2 forwards and one D on that team. please post if you are interested and we can link up at that point. |

There has been an informal pickup game the last couple of summers on Sunday nights at the Vaughan Sports Village. Mostly CIS players with a few NCAA players as well. Run by one of the York players. |

Have been out to the Sunday nights at Vaughan Iceplex, lots of fun - nothing too serious. Lots of CIS players and occasionally some NCAA girls will come skate. |

Who cares. If my D ask me for something, either help them or at least give them direction. Right thing to do as a parent. They be gone soon enough. Be glad that they want to confer with mom and dad.
My own Dad worked in construction. He was never home, and in my 10 years of playing he never saw any of my games. I make it a point to attend as many games as I can of our kids, and get involved when needed or asked. |

Didn't you read the small print in your contract? You are a parent for life. Or maybe you aren't planning on being there for the wedding, baby parties, etc.? | |
