Our team is consistently outshooting and outplaying our opponent but we are losing games. We are not outshooting by a small margin either, often 30-5 and losing 2-1 or 1-0.
At what point is it the goaltender and at what point is it the shooters or style of play?

Goalies are always better than the shooters in girls hockey. If you want to score when getting 25 plus shots you have to send a player to the net. Not just beside the net which is where most players go. You need her to be right in front of the goalie for screening and deflections. I've seen more games won by garbage goals than pretty passing plays.
This past weekend a team in Barrie was totally outplayed but got a deflected goal to tie game and then won in overtime to win tourney.
Ugly goals count just the same as nice ones.
