I just checked back in yesterday and am trying to read up. I am relatively new to all of this, but wanted to offer my support. I am a resident of the DC metro area, and am more than happy to represent this group to our legislators. I'm hoping my close proximity to the epicenter will be of some service here.
My husband works on Capitol Hill. We are not fully versed in the current events concerning DS advocacy, but are trying to learn and be prepared so that when our 7 mo. old is ready for school, we will be ready, too!!
Until I am more up on how all of this works, please feel free to recruit me! I'll do whatever I can to help.
