He was profusely apologetic and said both the editor and publisher got his messages, would be back in the states on the 10th, and want to make things right. What worries me I guess is that they had NO IDEA about the implications of the article and the cover....which shows me the ignorance at stake here, if this is indeed our best "parenting magazine" in this area! They have never had such a response, negatively or positively in 20 years of publication.
they are specifically going to work with us - the parents affected and IDSF, and the Ds community as a whole, for input on how we want to "correct" this....well, we will have so much to say! Your ideas are appreciated Bets!!
