I'm writing this as a disappoited racing fan. This is about the finish of todays race. I think NASCAR should have stopped the race after Vickers wreck. there was enough time to clean up the track. Nascar deprived all it's fans of a great finish. As for the fans throwing the stuff on the track I didn't anything being thrown on the track until they put the white flag out and didn't restart the race. I'm not trying to defend what the fans did. But if Nascar had restarted the I don't think that would have happened. So Nascar should not have used that as a excuse to end the race under yellow. I'm writing this as a disappoited racing fan. They need to add the green white checker rule!!

I think this speaks for all the disappointed Nascar fans!

I hear what you are saying and i definitely agree with you. I also think that good ol' tony Stewart should have been penalized for pretty much being an a$$hole. He was the cause of that 10 car wreck. there was no reason for him to try and pass halfway through the turn, 3 wide, with that many laps left in the race. I thought he was supposed to be a professional???

What is up with the Tony crap anyway? Not only did he cause the wreck, which Terry Labonte was involved in, but at the end of the race he hit him again and then went the wrong way down pit road. He is getting way out of hand. I'm not a Gordon or a Earnhardt fan, but it should have been a green flag ending to that race, as you saw all day long, anybody could have one that race. I'm glad that I didn't pay to go see that race, I don't think the fans should have thrown things on the track, but I do agree with their disappointment.

I think I have a good idea. During the last ten laps of a race, the caution laps DO NOT count. So, if the caution comes out with 11 to go one lap counts under caution, the other cuation laps would not. which leaves 10 to race. If the caution comes at lap 5 , they cuation laps do not count there will be 5 laps of racing left, at 1 to go 1 lap to race and so on. Seems fair to me. Hope you all understand

I was disappointed also with the way the race ended. I would have loved to see a green flag finish, but I think many people were just mad because jr didn't win. Everyone's opinion would be different if jr ended up winning. It wouldn't have mattered. Also I was pretty disgusted with the fans that started throwing their cans or whatever they could find on the racing surface. That was way out of line!

I disagree... because if I was one of the 143,000 people that paid that kind of $$$ and it finished under I would've done the same thing! Green, White, Checkered would have quieted the crowd. I am a Gordon fan, but I still wanted to see a green flag finish instead!

I think those that through stuff, good for you with voicing your opinion - on national TV.... Maybe NASCAR will get the point and make the change that we've all longer for, for so long now! Look at the Daytona Race 2 years ago, same thing, that time they threw seat cushions instead of cans of Pepsi, Bud and Coors.

As for Tony - that's just terrible, and I don't blame anyone but him. He thinks his $hit don't stink, and unfortunately, it looks like he's not going to be finishing too well for the rest of the season (via Kahne, Busch, Labonte, Shelmerdine, Gordon, Johnson, and so on and so on....) And that's just 3 months into a very long season!
