And he is quiet while the cars are in the back stretch, then starts talking as the engines begin roaring.

The guy does know his stuff though ... as far as who the drivers are, and the seemingly minor details that we usually take for granted.

Uncle Art was the man.

When he ran things, I could tell you every car and driver in every class by the 2nd week of the season ... and could always tell you the top 10 in points for each class, all season long. He was that concise and thorough.
