Have any of you ventured to dirttrackdigest.com and read their message board?

I've been having a field day exposing them for the pack-hunting, immature sots that they are. I hurt their feelings so badly that they've begun deleting whole posts just to shut me up.

It seems they can't handle realistic views about Jack Johnson and Brett Hearn.

They're so desperate, that they accused me of being a Bachetti fan.

can't wait to read those posts...you are too funny....i love reading your posts and your responses....although i am not sure why your boy TC hit stratton on the front stretch or what provoked it, if anything...your boy did a good job coming from the back and getting an 8th place finish. But as you and I noticed nobody could even come within 3 car lengths of bachetti...he has one hell of a car....

I'm upset with Donnie. I saw him in the pits, but was too busy trying to find Tommy, and too annoyed over what happened to address the issue.

I've always been a fan of Hector's. He's a typical Vermont racer ... all the talent in the world, and too poor to ever afford the equipment to prove it.

More importantly, he's a clean racer and a gentleman.

You can bet your Howie* that I'll have a talk with Donnie and find out what happened, and you can also bet that I won't pull any punches. What he does reflects upon me in ways than I can't elaborate on without giving away my identity.

While you're placing your bets, here's something else to bet on ...

If Donnie was wrong, he will apologize to the Hector. he may still look like a kid, but he's always a man about these matters.

I am sorry but that is too funny....see gasketcase the problem is some people cannot tolerate an objective point of view...nor can the tolerate opinionated, stubborn people like you and I...it is just not acceptable in some parts of the world!! and i know that you lay it on the line with no beating around the bush and you probably hurt their feelings...shame on you!!! you are truly an admirable person...and although i don't know your identity...i truly admire and respect you, your thoughts, your ideas and your outlook on things. I could learn a few things from you. Yes I too like stratton as a driver, don't know him personally but think he has the skills to be a very successful driver as does his son....at first neil was a bit aggressive on the track but he is getting better. I truly admire most every driver at the valley, it is a comittment, dedictaion, time, loyalty and when things like double standards go on and politics it is very discouraging for those drivers who really love the sport and who conquer all obstacles just to be there. something has to be done for these guys and gals (sorry almost left your soon to be wife...out) someone has to speak out for them and be there voices....i feel so frustrated for them..like helpless....it is at the point where something has to change....because it is at the point where these races are one man shows, pro stock class and the mod class...know one else gets an opportunity to shine...divide up the classes...something....anything....

Like give me Lyle's job, and keep Howie's nose out of the racing aspect of the business.

The trouble is that it means so much to them to say "I'm manager of The Valley", that they don't have the guts to stand up to Howie. personally, I'd rather be fired for standing up for what's right, then to sit silently and disregard injustice.

As for Dirt Track Digest ... they have no idea what kind of bad publicity I could make for them. What they did was childish and unprofessional ... which exactly the opposite of how they'd like to see themselves.

Because I'm a bigger man than any of them, I'll be content to sit back and laugh at them ... for now.

Because I'm smarter than them, I'll wait until the right time to embarrass them.

unfortunately gasketcase this quality of mine has sometimes gotten me into quite a bit of trouble!!! It is a good quality and i guess can be a very bad quality...because i cannot just stand by...NEVER could...I have to stand up for who and what i believe in and I too would rather be fired and have then let injustices go by...so call me big mouth, call me a bitch, witch what have you and i will still go to sleep at night know i just didnt' stand by and watch or justify people's actions.....although this is a racing board and i will apologize ahead of time...but i have this posted on my wall at work...

I can tell you with 100% certainty that Lyle has absolutely nothing to do with the calls that are made on any race day. Many people didn't care for Hertha, but that woman did not hesitate to voice her opinion. One of the main reasons I miss her presence there. This crap wouldn't be happening if she were. You and I both know that (I'm making an assumption on your part, but if you've been around as long as it seems, and been as involved as it seems, you know what I am talking about).

Eve of Destruction is Lyle's baby.

There are only two people who make those calls. Harry and Howard. Many times Harry's calls depend on the mood of the night, if you know what I mean. On a very rare occasion, Harry does allow the flaggers or another official to voice their opinions. Howard on the other hand, does not usually want to do anything to anybody. All you have to do is bring your scanner on any given night and listen in. Most times it is rather comical. Worth the price of admission right there.

The more I think about it, the more seriously I think about it.

I joked about black flagging my own mother, but, the reality is that, if she intentionally took someone out, I'd say, "I hate to do this Ma, but if I let you go, I have to let everyone go". If you think about it, I'd only have to be hard-nosed until everyone figured out that I wasn't kidding.

Maybe it's Harry's job that I should have. I like Harry ... he's a nice ol` fella .. but, maybe his eyes are going. It doesn't help that he stands on the roof in the middle of the track and can't see more than 1/3 of the track at once ... and he's completely dizzy after 5 laps.

Whoever it is that is in charge of enforcing the rules, is in need of replacement.

Harry doesn't stay in the pits for the night. He goes over on top of the tower.
