I no you and every one else on here no's an a-hole. we just happened to be on a racing forum. your a-hole might not be a racer but telling us who you think is might not help. so i think its fine to post a driver. we will all
take it with a grain of salt. (or most of us will).

I understand and respect what you're saying ... especially considering the fact that your point is extremely valid.
There doesn't have to be an "A-Hole of the Evening", but history dictates that there will nevertheless be one ... and, more than likely ... one or more in each class.
We also don't have to point them out. We can sit back with our hands folded and our mouths shut, waiting for something to happen.
The trouble is that keeping our mouths shut is what has brought about the way situations are handled at the track. It has led management to believe that we find it acceptable.
I included the "A-Hole of the Evening" selection as a fun way for us to identify the problem children, and possibly raise their awareness to what they're doing wrong. In the heat of a race, it's unlikely that these guys stop to debate such issues with themselves. They are usually only thinking about getting past the car that's ahead of them.
I'll use Wayne Jelley ans Donnie Corellis as examples because no one can possibly say that I dislike them and am singling them out as a targets.
If either of them does something stupid tonight, we can point to this thread and say, "See? The fans knew you'd do it before you even did it. You need to stop doing it".
Do you see my point? You and I have these visions of everything smelling like roses, but, in reality, it all smells like money, and the greed that is created merely leads to more poor behavior by the drivers.
Clearly, no one in an official capacity is addressing the problem, so, we have to take it into our own hands.
Or sit back and watch the self-destruction of the sport that we love.
