In a way, this doesn't belong here, but, I'm going to stretch the guidelines a bit, and post it anyway.

As many of you know, Tom Ames banned me from Dirt Track Digest's forum. If you go have a look, you will see that I did nothing any different than I do on this forum ... I merely told it as it is.

The documented trail of evidence clearly indicates that I was shot at first, and exercised great patience before firing back. It also shows that I exercised great restraint when firing back.

Normally, in such situations, I walk away laughing at the ignorance of the other party. However, in this case, the other party is someone who makes a living as a writer, and should be in tune with our constitutional right to freedom of speech.

The hypocrisy is unacceptable.

Therefore, I am posting this here, where Tom cannot delete it, and is left to either accept it, or come here to debate me like a man.

Somewhere along the line, Tom and his buddies got it in their heads that I am a writer for a competing publication. While I fully understand that they recognized the fact that I am a far more capable writer than Tom, and agree that their assumptions are therefore logical, they are, nevertheless, way off base.

What a pathetically sad little man Tom must be. His only avenue toward shining brighter than others, is to extinguish them, and make himself the only available light.

How truly sad that a man's self esteem can become so unstable that it causes him to lose sight of who and what he's supposed to be.

It's even sadder when he knowingly and willingly acts in such a manner.

You see ... what you won't find on DTD's forum, is the post where I called Tom to the carpet over his hypocrisy, and challenged him to be a man, and debate me over the issue.

All you'll find are snide remarks that his spineless friends made about me ... knowing that I am unable to respond.

Men ... carying on like little girls.

Anyway ... I warned Tom that he was playing into my hands and that, as he should know, the pen is mightier than the sword. Unfortunately for Tom, he once again let his temper overcome his common sense, and he bit the apple.

Now Tom has made a bed that he cannot possibly sleep in. He can shut me up on his forum, but, in the haste caused by his anger, he completely overlooked the fact that he gave me a license to highlight his hypocrisy wherever I see fit.

My words are not slander. They are unarguable facts that would get him laughed out of any court where he might possibly seek legal remedy.

In short, he cut down all the trees he could have hid behind, before handing me a metaphoric loaded gun ... that was already aimed at him.

Before closing, I am going to switch from addressing the multitudes, and address Tom directly:

As you can see, I'm not playing with you. The actions you have taken are those of a spineless coward, and are completely contradictory to your role as a reporter.

As you can also see, your plan to silence me has completely backfired, as you now have to deal with me speaking the truth in places where you cannot control me.

I understand that asking you to be a man about the situation was like asking a cockroach to come out in the daylight, but, nevertheless, you were given several opportunities to do just that ... and you continually conducted yourself like a spoiled child.

If you were 1/100th as intelligent as you'd like people to believe you to be, you would have taken the afforded opportunity to apologize to me, and nipped this situation in the bud.

Then again ... that also falls back on you not being a man.

What now, Tommy-Boy? Are you going to cry to RapidRay, and try to force him to delete this? That would be a nice temporary solution, but it would be like putting a bandaid on shotgun wound ... I'll just pop up somewhere else and make you repeat the process. And let's not overlook the fact that doing so will reveal your ugly truths to a whole new group of people.

It's not a pretty situation that your ignorance has created. Not for you, anyway.

From my seat, it looks like I'll have many laughs as I watch you, trying to dance through your own BS.

It seems you have two choices ... apologize, and learn from your mistake, or wait until I take the rubber tips off my words, sharpen them up, and stop playing as nicely as i'm playing.

You may as well delete every post I made on your Third Reich Forum, and delete my account as well.

And you definitely want to start controlling your buddies and keeping my name off their lips, because it's your reputation that will suffer for their actions.

Back to the top with this. I don't want Tom to have to go looking for it.

you are so damn funny.....your posts are so detailed, heart felt and lengthy as mine but most importantly you put your heart and sense of humor in it and that is what is so awesome about you....I have started reading your posts on dirt track digest and I can't wait to finish so i can give you my UNBIASED opinion.....your too funny...becrefuly breaking it off with your girl tonight, she may accidentally try to run you over...and YES i have to admit i was so shocked that you were caught with both feet in your mouth regarding the chevy thing, but of course you had a great comeback....i would expect nothing less....

More than anything else, I just wanted Tom to see that he completely misjudged me, and wrongfully convicted me. Now, he's escalated the situation, and has me in the typical-male-chest-beating mode, and has more of a problem than he realizes.

I was reading some of the newer posts, and there are a few things that are much worse than anything I said or did. The onlt difference being that no one has said anything about their posts.

Anyway ... it'll take a lot more than Tom Ames to make me lose my senses of humor and fair play.

He'll eventually figure that out.

Let's not forget Tom. He's still out there ... hypocrittin'.
