"ALRIGHT!!! handed in my paper at 1030 yesterday when itz due at 12... slept like here and there the whole night, not too bad, think i did a decent job on the paper =P then i just slept my day off... itz VERY NICE!!! hehe...

Went clubbing last night as i promised, god itz so cool to be a hot chick (haha, yes, i AM one). Had like 7 drniks, didnt have to pay 1 cent. Aint that great? and the best thing is, i just danced the whole night (burnt quite a few calories, haha), and all i needed to do, is to walk home coz i live right around the corner in the city!!! WOOHOO!!! This rocks! =D And today i just bummed around as i start enjoying my Easter holiday... and tried to get my mood ready FOR GOLD COAST!!!!! Haha, jealous of my life? ME TOO!!! "

Dear Carrie, i have applied for miss hk this year, but i've got a few questions that u might be able to help:

When you were at the interview, did they ask you to remove your make up? or did they remove your make up and get their professionals to put makeup on your face?did they take photos of u? did they closely examine your face and look at your skin type etc? was it a scary experience? how close do u have to sit from the judges? did u sit by a table on one side and the judges or the other side? what else did u have to do apart from catwalk? anything else that i can do to prepare for it?

Please please reply. the questions might sound odd but they might help me to calm down my nerves. Thank you very very very much.

**THIS IS MY OVERSEAS EXPERIENCE, IT CAN BE DIFFERENT FOR THE HK INTERVIEWS** well, just put regular makeup of your own is fine...dun put crazy makeup tho, that will ruin it, just put some on is fine. They didnt take pictures, but they taped the whole process. I was probably about 5-10 ft from the judges, itz just a chair and the judges sit across behind the table. I answer couple questions about hk and about urself and thatz bout everything i guess....anything else?

i havent been here in AGES!!! geez, thatz crazy! well first of all, thank you guys, for still visiting here... it's remarkable how there are still ppl who rem moi!! time sure flies huh, itz already been a year since i left and sooo much has happened in my life... i got sth REALLY big cooking and itz gonna happen real soon but i cant tell you guys now coz i dun wanna let anybody know yet =P but anyways, actually i just went to Puerto Vallarta (in Mexico) last week and man it was AWESOME!!! itz just nuthin but the beach and ocean!! and everything is so nice and everybody is so friendly!! A question for Carrie

Hi, I just wanted to ask for your opinion about the image of a MHK now a days. I know Mandy is your friend, but do you think it's approriate for a MHK to do brest enhancement ads? I kinda like the traditional image of a MHK more. The image is more focused on how to promote HK, and inner beauty. It seems that the MHKs today are not as elegant as they use to be. I just think Mandy's image as a MHK is too open, not sincere enough. The colour of her hair is so wildly dyed also. I'm not trying to bash Mandy, as I think she's a very cute MHK, just my opinion. What do you think? By the way, who's your fav MHK winner? I know you like Kenix, but what's your choice for winner?

well if u have paid close enuf attention, Mandy NEVER did any breast enhancement ads. All she did was for slimming, but NOT breast enhancements. Anyways, well...i dunno, things change with time, miss hk used to be all elegant and stuff, but i dun think itz 100% necessary for today's world. You look at other pageants around the world, they DONT emphasize on just elegant. Yes, you gotta be presentable, elegant? not necessary. Plus as u may have noticed, hk ppl tend to like the cute gals nowadays, just look at the singers (??) out there! they are almost all small and puny and cute. O and haha, i dunno, personally i think dyed hair is cool (as i havent had blk hair since like i was 16 or sth, hah), if a brunette can dye her hair gold to pretend to be a blonde, why cant we dye our hair? not that we're trying to pretend to be a foreigner, itz just that personally i think lighter hair goes really well with mandy, and it makes u look sharper and more outstanding i think. My fav winner? hm...i'd say Michelle Reis...she is the prettiest person i've ever seen on earth!

my thots on MHK 2005

finally got a chance to look at them in detail!!! well after much 'examination' (haha), i found myself VERY attracted to #14 Shermon!!! she is soooo sunshine and lovely! she may not be the prettiest, but just so healthy and tan!! love it! (mayb that's y i love my Ivy Tam =D), and i also like #16 Carrie, she has the poise and overall package to be a MHK; #18 Erica, she just looks sooo sweet! she actually looks kinda like the jap actoress "Tung Yuen Gay Huern", love that look; #8 Tracy, she has that MHK poise too; #7 Natalie, she looks sweet and her features are very nice. Well these are my top 5 i guess? what do you guys think?

I agree with you. I think Shermon is pretty cute. I like her tanned look even though that's not the look hk ppl want lol its so strange how hk ppl like to be whiter but ppl over in north america like to be tan

hmmm... I really like Shermon Tang too. Though I don't think they'll let her be MHK b/c she's too dark, her face looks too much like a little kid. I hope she makes it to top 3. My other pic is #8 Tracy. She looks really sweet, kinda like this year's MHK.

hmmm...this may sound stupid, but i really dunno... honestly i dun even try to eat less or anything, you'll be suprised HOW MUCH I EAT!! i try to not eat food that are too fat/oily, or with too much sugar, but other than that, i love meat and cheese and everything! and i dun really exercise either...haha, so i guess i'm just really blessed! (hah, my mom told me that she was like that when she was young too, so i guess itz all in the genes!)

Don't starve is the best diet. Less salt, less sugar or none at all. A good way to diet is also to eat maybe 3 hours a day in smaller portions but never starve yourself =) Carbs is good for you. The low carb diet is actually really bad for your health so continue to eat carbs. As long as you don't overdo yourself with eating, you shouldn't really gain weight. And some people, like Carrie are just born with metabolism lol I know lots of people like that.

I remember that article of you Carrie like last year. It had you sitting at a table with a lot of food and you said you love to eat ^^

well i love to eat... and i just eat pretty much anything and everything... i mean sometimes i will feel like eating just little rice...but sometimes i would just crave for it like crazy... so i just eat whatever i feel like...i guess i'm just lucky i dun really have a sweet tooth so not too much sugar there... plus the fact that i'm pretty tall, so even if i gain weight i have a lot of place to put that~~ haha =P

Hmmm. I quarterly agree. Carrie does have a round face. Also, the delegate have similar eyes and mouth as Carrie (or vice-versa... never know). I won't say the delegate is not as pretty. I think the reason is because she has bangs and Carrie does not. And it's not a really clear picture so can't really compare who's prettier and who's not in this case.

I reread my previous message. I'm sorry if Carrie will take it as an insult, because maybe it did sound like it is an insult. But the truth is it was NOT suppose to be an insult. What I mean is that we shouldn't compare this year's delegates to others. I mean, we can give comments on this year's delegates, but we shouldn't compare it with any past contestants in the MHK OR even compare contestants from one year to another. To me it's not moral. But we should not past judgements or comparison between each other. Pictures first of all, do not say it all, and neither do videos.
