Huge step backwards imho shows exactly where the club is going. .....nowhere.
Who is Phil Parkinson and more importantly wtf has he achieved in the game,if he comes in its another case of a shite Italian mindset underestimating the importance of this club and the championship.
Go on Phil the saviour fetch in yet more dross from Bolton and the likes, should've kept hockaday and backpeddalled for the last 3 years.

Yeah Ovy, youre right. Fuck it lets have Conte, Allegri or Klopp here, bet they can't wait to get started eh?
Or we can chase a manager thats secured 3 promotions in 13 years but you think that is zero acheivment so what the fuck do you actually want? Are you missing the fact that we arent as big a draw as you seem to think we still are. Stop living in the past.

If it is parkinson for the job my faith in radrizani is over before the season has even begun. He's a division three long ball specialist, and Leeds United will be taking a massive step backwards if this really is the case. Nobody's saying we're up there with pool or scum, but are we really going to give the job to parkinson over karanka?!?!

No I'm not living in the past at all I just don't think someone like Parkinson is the answer, if you're happy with him fine but my opinion is he would be a backward step and if you don't agree then that's up to you,I ,and I suspect you, want the best for LUFC,that's why Parkinson isn't the man for me,only time will tell but I stick to what I say, where a the ambition here, we've just let monk go because of the lack of forward thinking and you want him replaced with Phil Parkinson.

Fair enough about ambition, but we've got to be realistic too.
Fuck me, it seems people have more concern about getting Parkinson than potentially getting scum bastard Stam here. The cunts up at 2/1.

Sorry fella not for me, yes he's had 3 promotions: 1 from div 2 to div 1 and 2 from div 1 to championship, he's also had 2 relegations from championship so it looks like his level is div 1 at best.
Agree we're a championship team but should be looking at guys who have succeeded at this level not failed.
IMO another sub par manager who will have LUFC on their C.V. but we should never be on theirs.

I agree with you, but I also agree with the poster further down who says that he is probably our level now. Wolves, Wednesday, Derby etc are our equals now so managerially we will have to cut our cloth accordingly. Add to that the fact that our club has been a circus for the past decade diminishes our star even more.

Maybe look at what we have already in the club and try to build on what we had last season. There's obviously a great spirit which got us to over perform so try building on that with gasp continuity. Not necessarily closet, but maybe someone else from the youth set up or the reserves.

Failing that it's take your pick from the usual suspects who have failed elsewhere. .....
