Providence 3, Springfield 4 (SO)

Scratched/Injured: Kevin Schaefer, T.J. Trevelyan

UGH! I don't have too much to write tonight because my pain I'm suffering from is intense. Also, it was a very frustrating game to attend. It felt -- and looked like too many of our players were just coasting tonight. Only (to me at least) three d-men played well, and Tuukka Rask didn't have a good game. Also, it was obvious that Springfield wanted the win more. Very, very frustrating game. I do admit that I'm glad they got the point, but I'd rather that they got the win, which they should have.

No energy today

March 29 2008, 4:51 PM

I looked like the bruins were on cruise control for the first period and then seemed to come to life after they got behind. I'll give this team one thing, they play their best when their behind and have come back more times than not. Providence didn't have much to play for and Springfield had everything to play for.

One thing to note, Rask did some damage to the runway as he was coming off the ice. He struggled during the shootout again. I guess its good he's pissed at himself, cause it will drive him to only do better. He's young, and I think better things are in store for him. Lets just hope the Dunk can hold up until then.....LOL

Yes, Cruise Control

March 29 2008, 7:17 PM

Cruise control is exactly what I was trying to express. It's like, "yeah, we're in the playoffs". YEAH, but don't you want to keep FIRST PLACE?! And poor Tuukka. He's got to stop being so hard on himself. So much of goaltending is mental (as we know). I don't blame him... I'd loved to have won, but I saw he struggled in the shootout again. He's a rookie. Geeze.. I hope he can talk with Jordan more about it all (and Scott since he also was a goalie).

BUT, that doesn't give the rest of the team and excuse for coasting!
