It always seems in the Playoffs, that one goalie gets very HOT. Right now it is Aubin!!
Against any other Portland goalie, we would be scoring much more. Also, when a goalie is really hot, the defense is less concerned with shots being taken, and play a more offensive game.

It also seems like Bobby Ryan is playing at a very high level as well. He always seems to be in position in our end, and has had many quality scoring chances, as well as is leading Portland in scoring.

Tuukku has been playing very well for a rookie. He is up against a goalie who has been in NHL since 1999. That number of years with that level of experience makes Providence's job that much harder. TJ is matching Ryan for skill and being in the right place!

I think that playing Portland in their building to overtime is respectible for our team!

We need to win on Tuesday, then close out at home!!!

GOOD LUCK to PROVIDENCE!!!!!

John

Aubin

I agree about Aubin, and that's why I was surprised that they began with Ryan and then used him again. They used Aubin for all five of their games vs. Hartford. I don't think Ryan is hot at all, but Aubin is, and so has Tuukka been. But as you said, we have a very good rookie, and they have an NHL caliber goalie. But, I still believe in Providence.

It is interesting to see how much the home crowd can push the team over the edge.

I hope so badly that we win tomorrow, and then (like you said) can close it out on Friday!
