Wow, I was shocked that Portland almost eliminated Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, but I'm so glad that they came back and took out Portland! I know all the Providence fans are glad to see Portland out!

It's still a bummer that we didn't get further, but at least a team (I felt, for sure) that didn't belong in the finals at all, didn't get there.

I'm so glad. But to be honest with you, I've been so busy watching the CHL playoff series between Kitcherner & Belleville that I completely forgot that series. What a great CHL series too. Great stuff. It's on the NHL Network.

I've seen how the NHL network is covering the CHL. It's a shame that no one covers the AHL on TV.

I've been catching games for the Stanley Cup playoffs and now will watch all games since they're in the finals. Go Pittsburgh!

I'll be going for the Penguins I guess. Only since they knocked out Portland. I'm still not over the fact we got beat like that. Very unfortunate on our part but what can ya do.

I agree there. I know Portland wasn't nearly as good (or close) during the regular season. The fact that they took out Hartford was an amazement to me. I (as I'm sure most of us) expected to see Hartford next. But, then for Portland to beat Providence and almost take out Wilkes Barre/Scranton?! I don't know if I'll ever grasp all that.

I'm also cheering for our fellow East Conference team since if we had gotten as far as we could, it would have been us taking on Chicago. So, we have to stick to our conference
