Behind goalie's 46 saves, Phantoms shut out P-Bruins at Dunk

PROVIDENCE - The Providence Bruins fell to the Philadelphia Phantoms, 2-0, Sunday afternoon at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
After a scoreless opening period, the Phantoms took a 1-0 advantage at the 10:17 mark of the second period. Claude Giroux scored his fifth goal of the season with Garrett Klotz and Jared Ross picking up the assists. Philadelphia went into the second intermission with the 1-0 lead.
Early in the third period, at the 3:24 mark, the Phantoms took a 2-0 lead. Ross netted his fifth goal of the season, while Giroux recorded the lone assist. Philadelphia went on to win by the same score.
Tuukka Rask stopped 26 of 28 shots for the P-Bruins, while Scott Munroe made 46 saves for the Phantoms. The P-Bruins were 0 for 5 on the power play and 4 for 4 on the penalty kill.
The P-Bruins are back at home at the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Friday versus the Worcester Sharks at 7:05 p.m. for a Family Game.
