Providence 5, Springfield 2

Scratches/Injured: Ryan Stokes, Peter Schaefer, Byron Bitz

ADDED to Roster and playing: Brock Hooton.

Kind of doing things online while listening, but it sounds like after Springfield scored, the P-Bruins totally woke up and turned on the scoring machine. Two games and two penalty shots. Tonight it was Marquardt's turn to score on one. Good for him!

Well, we do have Springfield's number as Johnny Boychuk sealed the deal with an empty net goal. Nice to win on the road.

Oh, and Portland lost!

January 4 2009, 12:15 AM

Any game is great to win, great to see just a great effort on the road, was thinking of taking a ride to springfield to see this one, last time I did this we got lost and ended up in ct someplace and took 3 hours to get home.Crazy schedule for tomorrows opponent Houston, going from Binghamton,to Scranton,to Providence. They have got to be road weary hopefully we will take advantage and get our 3rd in a row sunday afternoon

Big Game Today

January 4 2009, 10:30 AM

Yeah, big game today, but I'm impressed with Providence right now, and I'm impressed with how Tuukka's playing right now. And yeah, maybe they are tired wink.gif but I still think our guys have it in them.

I also think that Kevin Regan did a good job last night. Of course I'd rather have seen it.

Oh, that is awful about getting lost! Did you get the directions from someone who had been? That is the best way, so if you want to go again, ask someone at the Dunk.

bad directions

January 6 2009, 2:57 PM

Actually I had been there before, and found the Mass Mutual Center no problem.I asked staff there how to get back to Mass Pike, was told it was easy .What they failed to mention was every street was one way.We ended up in ct before we realized how wrong we went,if I ever go back I definetly would ask at the Dunk

Actually . . .

January 4 2009, 11:00 AM

Actually, there were no healthy scratches. That is why they had to get a player in.

BTW, glad you finally found your way here.
