P-BRUINS PARTNER WITH METLIFE AUTO & HOME®, BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS

P-Bruins Players, Samboni & Snoopy to be at Boys & Girls Club in Warwick

Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins are partnering with MetLife Auto & Home and the Boys & Girls Clubs to promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.

On Wednesday, February 11 Providence Bruins players Adam McQuaid and Jeff Penner, along with the P-Bruins mascot Samboni and the MetLife Auto & Home mascot Snoopy will be at the Boys & Girls Club of Warwick from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The group will be there to speak with the kids about the importance of school, teamwork and good sportsmanship. Following the group discussion, the players and mascots will sign autographs and play floor hockey with the kids. This appearance is made possible by the continuing relationship between MetLife Auto & Home and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Rhode Island.

MetLife Auto & Home also donated their block of tickets for the P-Bruins game on February 13 versus the San Antonio Rampage to the Boys & Girls Club of Warwick.

"MetLife Auto & Home is pleased to have sponsored The Providence Bruins for many years," said Bob Lundgren, Vice President of Product Marketing for MetLife Auto & Home. "These are both great organizations and we couldn't be happier to partner with them in the local community to promote the enhanced development of children.

"The Providence Bruins are proud to partner with MetLife Auto & Home to support the Boys & Girls Club of Rhode Island" said Jeff Hagan, Chief Operating Officer of the Providence Bruins. "Our players look forward to spending the afternoon at the Boys & Girls Club of Warwick on Wednesday and we look forward to hosting them at our game on Friday."

Any members of the media interested in photo opportunities with the P-Bruins players, mascots and kids from the Boys & Girls Club are invited to the Boys & Girls Club of Warwick located at 340 Oakland Beach Ave. in Warwick on Wednesday, February 11 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. To arrange media coverage on February 11, please notify Kevin Boryczki with the Providence Bruins at (401) 480-8998.
