Philadelphia regained the lead at the 12:40 mark. Jonathon Kalinski scored his fourth goal of the season, with Sean Curry, the former P-Bruin, getting an assist.

Providence tied it again at the 15:08 mark. Matt Marquardt sent the puck to the right point for Johnny Boychuk, who skated down the boards and sent the puck toward the net. Knackstedt tipped it in for his ninth goal of the season.
