Rabbit's two shootout scores lift P-Bruins past Springfield, 2-1

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. Wacey Rabbit scored twice in the shootout, giving the Providence Bruins a 2-1 victory over the Lowell Devils on Saturday night.
Mikko Lehtonen scored the regulation goal for Providence and Martin St. Pierre also had a score in the shootout.
The P-Bruins took a 1-0 lead at the 7:00 mark of the opening period. St. Pierre sent the puck into the zone for Vladimir Sobotka. He found Lehtonen in the right faceoff circle, who tallied his 25th goal of the season.
Springfield tied the game at one at the 9:57 mark. Tyler Spurgeon netted his sixth goal of the season, while Viacheslav Trukhno and Ryan Huddy picked up the assists.
After a scoreless second period, third period and overtime the game went into a shootout. St. Pierre scored in round one of the shootout to give Providence the early lead and increased its lead to two goals when Rabbit tallied in round four.
Shane Willis got Springfield on the board in the shootout in round four before Rob Schremp tied the shootout at two in round five.
In round eight, Rabbit scored the shootout winner.
Tuukka Rask stopped 34 of 35 shots in regulation and 6 of 8 shots in the shootout for the P-Bruins, while Devan Dubnyk made 34 saves in regulation and five saves in the shootout for the Falcons.
The P-Bruins were 0-for-8 on the power play and 2-for-2 on the penalty kill.
The first place P-Bruins return home Sunday for a Family Game versus the Lowell Devils at 4:05 p.m.

You know, I really have a few pet peeves when I hear people speak with really bad English, but it's incredibly bad that newspapers and magazines don't seem to have proof reading anymore..

Wow, we played them and Springfield last night and won both games? After that sentence they got it right, but how can newspapers and magazines and other types of things publish articles/stories and things with so many errors? They have spelled players names right and then wrong in the same article, and they have spelled normal words wrong, but ProJo, this one is a real humdinger!
