Providence 2, Worcester 4

Scratch/Injured: Kevin Nastiuk, Ryan Stokes, Peter Schaefer, Andrew Bodnarchuk, Jonathan Tremblay, Levi Nelson, Kevin Schaeffer, Matt Stephenson

Kevin Regan actually had to try and convince Rob Murray that he was ready to play today, so he finally did let him play. I guess he's dealing with the hip pain, and/or it's not as bad as they thought it would be.

Well, it began so well. Providence was ahead, and it really was a simple task: win today's game and get back in a tie for first with Hartford and also officially clinch a playoff spot. But, what happened is that they lost, and they are still in second place and they helped out Worcester so that they may get past Manchester into the playoffs. I must say I despise Manchester, so that part didn't kill me. I'd love to hear from those that went to the game. Did Kevin return too early? Is it our depleted defense? Is it out poor power play? I have no doubt that next weekend Providence will get into the playoffs, but will they be in first or second place? And, how will this depleted defense affect the playoffs?
