Hello Ray, I wish all the best with this coming season! A lot has changed since I have last saw you. Last time I saw you, you were driving a red micro sprint at Trailways speedway. At this time I was also running micros. I was the 12 year old kid driving the #61. Well after 8 years I'm looking to get back into racing. I have seen your success as well as others in the miget series. I had a few questions for you if you have a minute.
First off can a guy give up any weight and still be competitive in this series? If I were to run I would probably give up 50 lbs or so, I know it will make a difference but do you think I could still be a contender once experience was gained? Second, What type of payouts do the midgets have. I see the Nationals pay $1500 and $3000, What are the ARDC regular event payouts? I was just wondering and comparing between this series and the 358 sprint cars? Any thoughts to these questions would be appreciated! Thank You for your time!
