Ray started 8th in his heat race. Before the first lap was completed there was a 6 car pileup. The leader spun out in front of the field. Ray was involved but was able to restart. He restarted 3rd out of 4 cars. On the first lap he was challenging for the 2nd spot and spun the car and was hit by the initial pole sitter. He was forced to retire from the race but was credited with 3rd place.
I have no idea where this puts him for tonight!
