Well, I've noticed something about both me and my son and i was kind of curious if it was related to the 13/21 specific translocation. To start, I need to say that, although i do not have DS, I do have the translocation. As far as they knew, the only thing it would cause was reproductive problems for me. Here's the thing though ... While my son was in the hospital post-surgery, I looked in his eyes and noticed that the pupils were not centered. A couple weeks later, I was looking in the mirror and noticed mine are the same way. (Isn't it odd how often you look in the mirror and how rarely you actually see things, I was 23 at the time). Do either of your children with the 13/21 translocation also have this oddity?
Like i said, I'm kind of curious and there's not many parents with Down's Syndrome in my area. And the KC Children's Mercy said they hadn't seen the specific translocation in 15 years before Sean was born, so there's really anyone around here to ask. Thank you for reading all of this rambling
