Our son is 3 1/2 yrs old and has not (successfully) seen a dentist. The nearest pediatric dentist is 30-45min away. The major issue with our boy is that he either won't open his mouth or he chomps down on fingers in his mouth. His front teeth on the top are all crammed together in not enough space so I know he needs to be seen. Do I need to see someone who will knock him out? Should I wait until he's older? Any suggestions?
