Yeah, well I'd just copied the logo above this message board and went to my local tattooshop. He printed it on my right shoulder and after an hour it was done..it costed me 50 bucks.

And why the two thumbs? I don't know, and I don't give a damn, really

I doubt this is why, but Hemingway bred cats with thumbs. By the way, these cats have slightly different brains, and develop them (brains and thumbs) best when surrounded by other cats who share their thumbly interests. If anyone wants one, let me know.

Hemingway cats rock

March 17 2005, 5:57 PM

Yeah. I should put some pictures on here. There's going to be a litter really soon, and one or 2 will probably have thumbs. I'd love to give a cat to a HSTer. Something has to keep us together now.

Why two thumbs

March 14 2005, 8:33 PM

Jesus, you guys are way to freaking deep for me - I mean why two thumbs? I'm still trying to figure out why the **** we have ten fingers and only two friggin nostrils. Any help with this, guys, will be much apreciated. Just don't burn up to much extra brain-matter on this problem, considering how much you've already expended on the "two thumbs" issue. Maybe try using some of your creative thinking for, oh what the heck, issues like the war in Iraq, Social Security, and/or the rape of the environment. God, I sleep better at night knowing there's a brain trust like you all out there.

Can you believe people mark themselves for life with no idea the meaning behind the mark..I can't.. so to help you out, since you claim to be a HST fan, I'll enlighten you...The 2 thumbs represent freak power, the flower is a peyote flower and the double edge sword is to represent that the pen is mightier than the sword. I do hope you pick up every book he wrote and enjoy them as much as I did. Mahalo

glad to see someone helping out his fellow HST fans. too much bull**** here about who's theories are right and who the real fans are. if you read even one of his books and dig it, you're a fan. what you make of it is up to you. Thompson may have written it but he could never control what it meant to those who read his work.
RIP Doc
