I am looking for running hardware for a newly aquired 280 Jones hull. The hull was never completed leaving me with a long list of things needed. If anyone knows of a retired hull that still has the hardware, it would help out in a great way.

I just mailed Bob Lewis in WA. a pile of loot for some Jones hardware he had lying about. 280 stuff. If you give me a call, we'll chat, and when it gets here I'll get back to you and see what it is I don't need. Spellman Pellerin has original 280 front and rear cowls (the boat has a capsule now), tach drives, throttle cables, fuel tank, props and other Jones hardware for a 280/5 litre. They took a deposit on the boat last week but I think they only sold the boat, motor and trailer. I have a vintage hydro my husband just acquired - your welcome to any of the parts off of it - I think that he said it was a Jones hull, too.
