HI,
I'm looking for information on Donald Duck II, a 1950's ERR raceboat. I own the original wood Donald Duck (31E) and would like to bring the ducks together. Donald Duck II used to have twin surface props and was powered by an early Dodge Red Ram. I believe the hull is a fiberglass copy of my original wood Donald Duck. If you have any information, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks. Russ
I have two on-the-trailer photos of the twin surface prop Donald Duck. It was red and my impression is it was a lot longer than the Donald Duck that I saw at the most recent West Coast Boat Racers Reunion. Give me a shout if interested in the photos. They were taken at Mission Bay in the early 1960s... Dec 30, 1962 to be exact. The current plan is they will be included in my book but in B&W.
Yes, I would be very interested in copies of the photos of the twin prop Donald Duck. It will be very interesting to compare the boats. I sent an email to your SBC global email address with my contact information, please let me know if you received it or if you have another email address for me to contact you. Thanks very much for your interest.
