This boat is as expected,,rough but not too rough. Can be made to run again but cannot come up with any history. Will keep digging.

If it indeed has 2 seats it is possibly a "B", "C", or "D" Service runabout. Go to Phil Kunz site under vintage flatbottoms for length and wt. What is odd to me is the exhaust on both sides for a small motor. I know Service boats of the 40's and early 50's used marine engines - no Automotive until '58. "E" Service used the Gray straight six as did "E" racing.

Anyway, the Kunz site may help.
