Mark's boat

October 19 2006, 12:47 AM

The boat has some real nice hardware and a nice matching tandem trailer. (there is also a canopy lid not shown in pic.) If you have access to some vintage cowlings, the boat is a no brainer waiting to be someone's winter project.

Unfortunate for the A class, this boat could possibly be worth more in vintage than as a current racer, but it is a good candidate for either use.

would they be interested in selling the lid seperately. I just bought a staudacher hull for my son (same capsule) and it needs a lid.

Double check the Cell type

October 25 2006, 4:18 PM

Jon had 2 different cells....one was the barrel, which is in Mark's boat and the other came up narrower and flattened at the top.

Canopy

October 25 2006, 4:44 PM

The clear acrylic canopy's originate from aerobatic airplane canopy's from Airplane Plastics, located in Tipp City, Ohio. If you cannot locate a used one, drop me a line and I will give you the part number to use and explain how you can build your own.
